KHP 190 – First Aid & Emergency Care
This course is a study of the correct procedures in responding to an emergency including CPR and First Aid. Course work includes lectures and demonstrations on first aid measures with skill training. American Red Cross certification will be made available.*
*Competencies of the American Red Cross must be met before certification can be obtained in CPR for the Professional Rescuer and Responding to Emergencies. You must make 80% on the written test and complete all skill check-offs to be Red Cross certified.
KHP 230 – Human Health & Wellness
This course is the study of health promotion, wellness, and disease prevention concepts as applied to individual, familial, and community health.
