Procedure for By-pass of developmental mathematics:

Credit by exam policy for Developmental Math (MT055/ MT065/ MT 122)

 The Credit by Exam opportunity is provided for those students who through self-study or Adult Education believe they have acquired knowledge necessary for a particular level of mathematics. 

 Examination fee is $20 payable through the Business Office prior to testing.

 Testing dates are typically scheduled for the Saturday of registration and the Saturday after registration.  Times should be verified by calling Ruth Leone, Division Assistant MNS, at 326-2105 or Cindy Shelton, Developmental Math Coordinator, at 326-2097.

 Study guides can be obtained in the G208 office complex.

 If a passing grade is achieved on test(s), credit will be recorded on the student’s transcript.
